Peel-off ends for two-piece and three-piece cans

As a consumer-friendly alternative to conventional can ends, peel-off ends are enjoying increasing popularity. And the arrival of award-winning compeel® technology has made them even more attractive.

We embarked on the development of modern peel-off technologies because they provided a flexible, convenient and extremely economical solution for two- and three-piece canmakers. Our UNISEAL endmaking machines can be added easily to existing end production lines and enable metal packaging producers to react quickly to changing market needs. Needless to say, peel-off ends produced with UNISEAL machines can be used on existing seamers.

Our peel-off ends consist of a curled ring and an aluminum or composite membrane. The membrane is automatically attached to the ring by means of the proven heat-sealing technology.

The new UNISEAL HS automatic thermosealing machines now make it possible to attach either composite or aluminum membranes to the rings. The machines permit the rapid changeover of end diameters as well as easy operation and maintenance.
